Double Header ABV 5.3%

A railway themed name after the name for two engines pulling a train. A golden brew made only with pale ale malt and goldings hops giving it a well balanced hoppy flavour. Very drinkable - beware!!                                                                            

Old Slug Porter ABV 4.5%

In the old brewery we had a problem with slugs getting into the brewery. As the beer leaves a trail down the glass as you drink it like a slug, that's how the beer was named.
A delicious traditional porter with a full bodied taste of chocolate, coffee, blackcurrant and black cherry with a good aroma. A near black colour with a good white head when served through a tight sparkler
A lighter style traditional ale with a balanced bitterness and a slight spiciness to the character.

A very different beer, brewed with 40% malted wheat, Wheatear has a light, summery taste.

 
Pure UBU pronounced OO-BOO - is named after our faithfull canine friend UBU, protector of our secrets.

UBU 4.5% ABV is a distinctive Premium amber coloured beer.

Using 100% English Maris Otter Malt with Challenger and Cascade hops, creates a balanced full flavoured beer that is a pleasure to drink.

ORGANIC BITTER 3.7%

Pale flavoursome brew, using German Spalt hops to give a dry smooth aftertaste.


 

 

Red Ensign
ABV 4.3%

Flown by UK citizens throughout the world the “Red duster” as the ensign is known is recognised everywhere. This ruby red beer is equally distinctive. Powerful English hops balanced by finest Yorkshire malt make this a truly Great British beer.

 


 

 

Coachman's Tipple
ABV 4.7%

The poor coachman would build up a terrible thirst whilst conveying the members of the household to and from their soirees. So what better way to refresh himself than with a fine glass of ale. This ruby red and rich beer has fine balancing hops and real depth of character so don't spare the horses as you gallop into the nearest pub.

FOOL'S GOLD

Strawberry blond with a generous hop bitterness. Crystal malt adds some sweetness but you probably won't notice it because we really pile in the Challenger, Goldings and Fuggle hops.
 

CHERRY BOMB 6%

A splendid rich and fruity beer with a maraschino cherry flavour with a potent punch (EXACTLY AS IT SAYS ON THE TIN It tastes of cherries and gets you bombed)

GOLDEN HONEY 4.5%

A golden coloured beer brewed with Australian honey. Not over sweet but rounded and lush with an exquisite finish

 

SPRING BEER 4.3%

Golden yellow, well hopped refreshing bitter, made from our own spring water! Malty, hoppy taste with sweetish finish
