Pros & Cons

Not everybody likes the same things so we have listed some pros and cons.  It is upto you to decide  whether they are a pro or con for you personally.

We are not a hotel, but a 4**** AA Inn

We have a bar serving locals & tourists alike which can be very busy from mid day until mid night

We do not have a separate reception area - check in is at the Bar

We have four great real ales and are Camra & Cask Marque recommended

Some of the bedrooms are above the bar and all have river views  (you may have some noise from the bar)

We have an AA rosette restaurant open to the public in the Evenings. Advance Bookings are a must

We serve a lunch time bar menu throughout the whole premises mid day until 2-30pm

We do not serve bar meals in the evening

We do not cater for Children in the evening Restaurant

Children are not allowed in the public areas or rear garden after eight o'clock

We do not have on site parking, but there is parking just a short walk away in a public car park

We do supply one car parking pass for the car park

per room for residents on payment of a refundable deposit

The rear garden is semi covered and has heaters for those who smoke

All our rooms are non smoking

Check in is not until 3pm
