The Mug House Inn & Restaurant in Bewdley, Worcestershire

Out of Sight Never Out of Our Mind

Dear Friends,

Your absence has made our heart grow even more fonder and we are so looking forward to welcoming you back on the 14th of July and beyond.

As well as a face lift, we have had a health check ensuring your safety and the safety of our team is always number one priority.

To that end, we will publish a Dos and Don’ts in line with government guidelines so that you are secure in the knowledge you will be visiting a clean safe place, as you would when visiting a friend’s house.

We also want to assure you all that we will still continue to be as welcoming as ever, that will never change.

Towards the middle of the week beginning the 6th of July, we will have an online booking platform for all our friends who would like to eat with us and now you will be able to book a table in the garden if you are eating and we encourage as many of you as possible to book.

For our guests who fancy an ale, glass of wine or any other beverage, please carry on visiting us as you have always done; you will just have to queue on our one-way system as we will only have one entry into the pub.

As friends, all we ask you is please keep to our guidelines and always have respect for each other’s space.

In the meantime, if you have any questions didn’t hesitate to message us via email or do call us at The Mug House.

Keep well and keep safe.

Covid-19 Dos & Donts

Nestled on the Worcestershire and Shropshire borders alongside the River Severn sits in the picturesque town of Bewdley, known for its Georgian architecture and quaint black and white cottages. With a stunning riverside frontage – located alongside the River Severn on the north side of Bewdley bridge – you will find us at The Mug House Inn, Bewdley’s finest river view AA Rosette restaurant and bed and breakfast accommodation.
A warm and friendly welcome will always await you when you wander into The Mug House Inn. And after a good nights rest in our AA 4 star B&B accommodation it is the perfect platform for an exhilarating walk along the river to take in the views and wildlife in and around Bewdley. Other attractions include the Severn Valley Railway, the West Midland Safari Park, and Wyre Forest. Further a field is the city of Worcester and the Malvern Hills.

Bar & Sun Terrace

Overlooking the River Severn the Bar & Sun Terrace has a light and airy atmosphere with a very friendly and welcoming feel to it. With real ales, lager, stout and a selection of fine wines all served with the greatest of care and attention. We’d like to think there is something to please the most discerning of drinker. Bar meals are served daily at lunch time.
